On Thursday House Republicans took a major step to repeal the Affordable Care Act using a sneaky tactic called a “reconciliation bill.” It limits the long speeches Congress members routinely use to delay action, aka filibuster.
But not so fast. Sure, repealing healthcare would make many Republicans feel large and in charge. But without an alternative -- one that does not deprive protections to kids under 26, those with pre-existing conditions, those who risk hitting coverage caps, and Medicare recipients--this move will endanger the lives of millions of the most vulnerable people.
People across the country, including at rallies across the country on Sunday, are asking questions like “I’ve had breast cancer. What’s going to happen to me?” Congress is being forced to listen.
There is something you can do---- Go HERE.
Thank you, Wall-of-US.
